Today marks the birthday of our late Founder, Edward “Fast Eddy” Kuwatch.

Eddie was a prominent California attorney and founded the California DUI Deuce Defenders in 1989.

This association became the California DUI Lawyers Association. CDLA is celebrating its 35 anniversary year in 2024.

Edward Kuwatch passed away on February 26, 2005 at the young age of 57.

CDLA's annual conference as well as its most prestigious and distinguished award is named after Eddy Kuwatch.
